I am a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist in Private Practice near Richmond Bridge, with more than ten years experience working in GP Surgeries, NHS Trust, Sixth Form College and Cruse Bereavement Care.
I am trained to listen and offer a confidential, calm setting where you can talk through your problems and find ways of making choices to improve your quality of life.
You may feel anxious and find it increasingly difficult to cope alone with the stresses and demands of life, perhaps arising through relationship break-up, bereavement or a work-related issue. Seeking therapy is a way forward and can be life changing.
My approach is integrative, by which I treat every client as an individual, rather than using a specific model. I work short term where the focus might be on a specific issue, or longer term looking back at your childhood experiences to throw light on your way of thinking and living, leading to a deeper understanding of yourself. Making changes can be beneficial but may feel unsettling at first.
If the burden has become too heavy to cope with alone, please call me to arrange an Assessment Session and find out if I can help you. There is no obligation - it is important to find the right therapist for you.
“I found the room relaxing”
“You were easy to talk to – reassuring and challenging all at once”
“Thank you! I grew as a person from our work together and I felt respected by you”
“I would just like to say how lucky I was to find you at a time in my life when I couldn’t cope and needed help. Thank you Jackie for providing that help”
“My first experience of counselling was very positive and I would recommend you to anyone who needed help”
“I am in a great place at the moment and feel extremely positive. Thank you for your support over the last few months – I really feel it helped prepare me for the birth and to deal with all the ‘side’ issues that had also become problematic for me”
“Many thanks for all the hours you have spent listening to me – I know that we have covered a lot of ground together and relations between me, my brother and sister are more cordial now”
